Hurst shifter for m20. Hoping I can get some advice. Putting a Muncie in my 68 bird I need a new shifter and shifter box not sure what one to order I've heard nightmares of some guys having fitting issues, I'm putting an lm7 5.3 carb'd in front of it. And already dreading fittment issues with that. It's a console car.
I ordered the Hurst kit for a '67 Camaro about 1 year ago.
My Camaro had the stock console, and the Hurst kit fit great.
If you are using the stock trans cross member in the stock location, I don't think you will have any serious issues.
