Default Which master/slave to use?

I'm currently in the process of converting my A4 car to an M6. I already have all the part including the clutch master and slave cylinders. I have a Spec 3+ clutch and flywheel setup but what I need to know is whether the factory 00-02 clutch master and slave will do the job without issues or do I really need to spend the extra for the after market parts? And if so what brands have you had the best experiences with? The other question I have is if someone has a link to a writeup on the wiring for the swap and locations/sizes for the holes that need to be drilled for the master. Thanks in advance for any advice. BTW all mods and current setup info are in my sig.

Tick masters and OEM slaves are good. Stay away from aftermarket slave cylinders.

I too am having a few issues with the hydraulics, why are the GM slaves so much better? Where is the proof of this documented?
Thanks

If you have a properly functioning factory master/slave and a clutch that is fully disengaging then you should have no problems, hope that helps.

Yeah its in the sticky at the top of the forum

FYI the gm and auto zone parts are the exact same down to the part number, stampings and everything.

Stock and Stock. I would not use an aftermarket slave or master. Seen too many failures.
