Mcleod RXT question
12) Check diaphragm finger height at this time by placing a straight edge onto the pressure plate
across the finger opening. All of the fingers should be below the rear surface of the pressure plate.
My fingers are above the surface of the pressure plate. All the hardware is torqued down and doesn't seem as though anything is hung up. The inside clutch disk spun freely before torquing down the floater plate. I read that if there is too much of a gap there it can push the outer disk out and cause release problems. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment? It doesn't seem as though there is unless it's in the floater plate....
Anyone else run into this?
