T56 leak My transmission is leaking and I don't know what needs to be replaced.
Other than residual fluid immediately after driving, it does not leak while sitting.
It seems to have enough fluid tricking out to leave a drop or two after coming to a stop.
After a recent drive, up to speeds of about 90mph, floor above the tail shaft, the transmission cross member, torque arm, and even the bottom of the muffler, had a decent splatter of fluid on them.
I have not driven the car since. The transmission shifts fine. No unusual noises or rough shifting.
The output shaft seal was replaced 400 miles ago. Should I replace it again? Is the output shaft bushing a possibility for the leak I've described?
I've also thought about the shifter, or vent tube. Would either of these lead to this sort of leak?
