Default Tr6060 help

I have a LS7 ZO6 motor in my 1932 street rod. I am now running a turbo 400. But I have been thinking about trying to put a TR6060 in it. Can it be done, and what all will it take to make the swap? The ZO6 vette transmissions are not an option. Has anyone tried this conversion before? Help please.

Sure it can be done.

You better figure out which one you're using. Production vs. aftermarket (T56 Magnum) has significant difference in driveline slip yoke or slip driveline) and shifter (tailhousing / case mount or remote) that work with it.

If the fitment is new, then you can probably just get a 6060 to bolt straight up and consider any work as part of the basic install, rather than an adaptation.

Shaft, gear linkage, clutch, flywheel will all be basic essentials anyway. If you can select and use an off the shelf trans, all the better.
