Default MGW Shifter Handle

I just installed my MGW shifter and I feel like the stick they provided is still too tall. Anybody know of a fix for this? I haven't been able to drive and test my shifter out yet cause my car is still on jacks. I'm in the middle of installing some Eibache springs and I ran into the issue of bad shocks in the front. So now I had to order some new shocks and wait for them to come in while my car is up in the air

There is a document that is included with the MGW shifter (at least there was one when I received mine a few weeks ago) that gives instructions on what to do if you want to cut the handle to make it shorter. It pretty much states just make sure you don't cut a specific area, but they changed the way they make the sticks to allow for customers to modify the stick to their liking. I, personally, feel the stick is perfect height.
