Default ls2 swapped 4th gen

Looking for a clutch for my ls2 swapped trans am. Will be H/C/I next season. Might see 10 1/4 mile passes a year. I like the sound of a Monster Stage 2. Is there a better option out there and who has a good price? I need a co?plete kit ( flywheel, slave, disc, pressure plate). Thanks

Monster S2 is a great option for that set up. If you think you'll clear 550 HP, then a stage 3 might be worth looking at. I recommend Tick Performance for the kit - flywheel, disc, slave, PP, adjustable master, remote bleeder kit, and excellent instructions.

If you don't already have the tick master, you'll want it for that set up. I don't think your stocker will hold up. The remote bleeder is worth every penny. Bleed the master at the quick connect. Then, sit in your car and bleed the slave in like ten minutes. Down the road, if you decide to flush the clutch fluid or re-bleed it, very easy to do.

LOL now this thread is getting the crosstalk from the other thread. So to continue our original convo from over on https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...h-choices.html

Based on that then, realistically its only a difference of about 5.5 lbs not including Flywheel, then depending on what type of flywheel you get, it will play a huge role in how it performs.

I'd assume that 5.5 lbs should have a minimal impact on MOI, but with the added PP weight in the pedal, I can see where it would feel more sluggish, especially if the friend got a 26-28 lb standard flywheel.
