I would think having the clutch pedal stick is not normal for a car that isn't raced, tracked, etc. Clutch pedal sticking can indicate dirty clutch fluid and clutch dust buildup on hydraulic components. I've never had a clutch pedal stick on any of the two M6's I've owned. But, I don't track or drag race either. And sticking by 20K miles is even less likely. It's possible your clutch fluid has never been serviced? If it's not a clear golden color, it needs servicing. Mine was slightly black when I got the car at 12K miles. Kept it clear ever since with 15 minutes of the "Ranger" protocol each year.
