I have a 2000 trans am ws6 6 speed and I just installed a short throw shifter stick about 3 weeks ago and within the last week or so I've noticed a whinning noise coming from my shifter. I was told it was my synchronizer.. Does anyone know what's causing it, how to fix it, or does it just mean its time to change the trans fluid?
