Trans/clutched pooched??

Trans/clutched pooched?? Haven't posted in years, probably same time I last had the car on the road. Anyway I finally insured my 2000 SS and was out driving it relatively hard, tried to shift into third and it made a real nasty grinding sound. I limped it home but at some points I had to drive in first gear only. It shifts totally fine up and down with no noise until I get above about 2300 rpm in most of the gears. I also cannot give it any real throttle in any gear or it makes that terrible noise and doesn't really move forward. I thought something in the trans at first but now I'm thinking maybe it's the clutch. I've been out of the car game for way too long and have no idea anymore. It's a 2000 camaro ss with a t56. Pretty much bone stock cept some new suspension pc I recently added. Low mileage as well. 42000 kms. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks. 👍

Sounds like the clutch and slave to me. Id be really surprised if it was the input or output shaft (car shouldn't be able to move at all and would be making some crazy noises), and it would be one hell of a coincidence if all the gears and syncros all were bad all at the same time.
