I was wondering if there was such thing as bench bleeding a clutch slave? I’m working with a C5 clutch slave

You could probably get some fluid through it to help...but ultimately it will still need bled properly once installed.

i'm able to crack the bleeder just enough to let fluid push through, route hose from the bleeder to the reservoir, and just cycle it with a lot of pumps. The pumps should be < 2 minutes. It's the prep. And not opening it wide open that let the jmd method work.

I have a speed bleeder on mine. I can't imagine doing it any other way after finally getting one. If you ever find the trans off that is... Might consider putting one in there...
