Tremec bought Borg Warner T56 and GM had their own part #

The one you want is from a 94-97 with the 2.66 1st gear as it has the highest TQ rating

You could put it in 1st and rotate the input shaft 1 turn and count how many turns the rear spline turns. The 3 different ones available from 93-97 had different 1st gear ratio

93 has 3.36 1st so the rear spline should turn 3 1/3 times. 400 ft lb rated

94-97 has 2.66 1st gear so rear spline would turn slightly more than 2 1/2 times. 450 ft lb rated

LT1 F Body with 3:23 rear gear had a 2.97 1st gear so the rear spline would turn "almost" 3 revolutions. 400 ft lb rated
