Question 3/4”-16 Shifter ball, any adapters or stalks to work on a t56?

I bought a stainless 2” ball from a guy who said it was for a t56 with m16-1.5 threads, well it actually has 3/4-16 threads in it...
I may still PayPal dispute it, as I paid as goods so I still have this option and now he’s not returning my messages...

But.....
Do they make an adapter or bushing to make this work?
Or... Do the make a short stalk with 3/4-16 threads for a t56 in an fbody?
Or... Anyone make their own stalk out of a bolt or all thread that’s 6-8” long?
Or what else does anyone think would work?
What even used a 3/4-16 threaded ball?

No. The drill size used before cutting 3/4-16 thread is less than 1.5mm greater Dia, than 16mm. An adapter would be too thin. ( < 0.75mm wall)

Never looked. lol.

The last **** I did was a little bit custom from a phenolic ball, and I had to tap it out to 7/16-20" for a Hurst shifter. Stainless sounds too hot anyway.

i would PayPal dispute it.....i recently bought an mgw shifter advertised as oe threads, ended up getting it and nope, it had the smaller 12 mm threads. i messaged the guy and also bought an adapter off amazon. couldn't get it to work with the leather factory hurst/slp ***** due to how deep the threads were inside the ****. returned the adapter, told the guy i can open up a dispute, return and he pays shipping and i get my refund, or knock money off the price. he gave me a partial refund, apologized, then i sold it for more than i thought i would get for it and made money on it......so i refunded the original seller the difference and i broke even.

Yeah I may have to dispute it, he said he’ll make it right or refund, but then doesn’t respond anymore.
If I don’t get my money back after the dispute, and since no bushing is made for this setup, Ill be out the $60.
What do you all think of making a short stalk out of a bolt or all thread?
It don’t have to look good, just has to work. Plus the boot will cover most of it.
A grade 5 or 8 bolt, 6” long is $5 and a 1’ Piece of stainless is $20.
I can get out the ole grinder and cut what I need to make fit.
If I had a lathe I’d cut it down to 1/2” or less and make the mount flat at the base.

‘yeah stainless is hot but I’ll keep it covered mostly.
you lucked out floorman on your refund etc... just was a pain I bet
