Clutch problem

Clutch problem I HAVE 2002 WS6 T/A. The clutch pedal is not coming back up after being depressed. The car has 30k. Anybody have any suggestion as to where to start. I have some ideas but was wondering if anybody else had this issue.

Check your clutch master cylinder and make sure there is still fluid in there and there are not any leaks. If the fluid is black then change it out (you can do this easily using a turkey baster to suck the old fluid out, and then refill and pump the clutch to cycle the fluid and repeat until the fluid is clear - do not let the reservoir go dry!) You may need to replace the master cylinder and if that is the case do NOT buy an oem one, buy a tick adjustable master cylinder. If the master cylinder or hydraulic lines are not the problem then it could be your slave cylinder or your clutch pressure plate, both require you to drop the trans unfortunately.
