TR6060 BK5 Conversion
I have a new TR6060 and the BK5 conversion kit already in my shop. I went this route as I picked up a brand new TR6060 and bought the BK5 kit from DD performance for MUCH less than what a T56 magnum would have cost me. This tail housing from DD also allows me to run a mechanical speedo gear as this is going in a first gen Firebird without having the tailhousing modified or running a Cable X or similar box. Versus the cost of a custom driveshaft and the conversion box, this made the most sense for me.
I have no problem working on the engine side, but have never had a gearbox apart. It would be helpful to know what I'm getting myself into before I crack it open!
