Default The replacement!

I have a 1998 TA with 90K miles, and it needs a trans rebuild, clutch, etc. I may have found a very low mileage 2001 set up - flywheel, clutch, trans, shifter, etc - from a wrecked TA. IF I pull my assembly out and replace it entirely with the 2001 set up, are there any hidden changes that I should know about up front? Like will the 2001 slave cylinder work with the 1998 Master? Did GM make any flywheel or clutch changes that would make this unworkable? That kinda thing.

Thanks in advance. Bob

I figured since noone answered my inquiry, I'd try to get your attention.

i think it would all work... most people just update the slave if its a pre2001 car. (along with the clutch and whatnot else. Id suggest to get that setup and replace the master with an adjustable one.

Do a search or ask a speed shop. Or a GM dealership... They will have all the information needed.
