sticking in reverse.??

Default sticking in reverse.??

every once in awhile i back up, then put it in 1st and it feels like a brake is in, i let the clutch up and its still in reverse. i have to wiggle the shiffter around for a bit to get it disengaged,. any ideas why it sticks in reverse? i rebuilt it 6 monthes ago and havnt had a prob w/ it.

The shift rail interlock setup prevents it from being "still in reverse" when it's placed in first. That's all I could say is "at fault" is misassembly of that, although I've no notion of how it would be together and still work otherwise.
