Mccleod RXT ring gear replacement Has anybody ever had the ring gear on their McLeod RXT flywheel replaced?
Mine has been eaten up bad by an AutoZone starter (100% recommend against them).
Their website says they'll do the service for $50 but I'm wondering if it would be possible/easier/faster for them to send me a ring gear and I can go to a local machine shop or maybe my local machine shop might just have ring gears to put on?
Any thoughts?

The ring gear is an interference fit, so it needs to be heated up and slid onto the flywheel before it shrinks again. The ring gear is a unique part to that flywheel unless you're lucky enough that McLeod uses GM ring gears.
