Tick MC play??

Tick MC play?? Installed a Tick MC the other day. All seems great, no real problems but I've noticed a little play with the threaded rod that goes into the MC. I can physically move it a very small amount up and down, this also moves the clutch pedal ever so slightly.
This movement the master cylinder is not compressing with the small amount of play, just the rod moves in and out of the boot at the fire wall. I tried tightening the bolts on the firewall to see if this helped, it did not.
It doesn't bother me but am wondering if this is normal? I'll try to post a video.
