Question Tr6060 with no oil cooler?

I am doing a engine swap on my 04 RX8 with a LQ4 and tr6060 trans, can I run tr6060 with out a oil cooler? I drive like 30mins a day without harsh driving style. Thanks!!

If you have a way of hooking up the temp sensor to monitor it for awhile it would tell you if it's a good idea or not. I ran mine to my radiator but you can also use a small trans cooler mounted under the car.

No need at all for a cooler unless you're doing some extreme use.

The tr6060 pump has a fixed output . That is it always pumps when there is rotation of the counter shaft. If you leave the pump inlet and outlet plugged , you are forcing the pump output to go through pressure relief. The very least you should do is plumb the outlet into the inlet so this doesn't happen. Having a continuous pressure relief can actually cause a heat build up due to the oil aeration. You should address this.
