Default RAM 980 Chattering

Put my RAM 402/980 in a few weeks back with a resurfaced stock flywheel and updated slave and made my stock master adjustable. The engagement was at the floor initially but then something weird happened. I let the car sit for a weekend and this Monday the pedal felt a lot more solid throughout the travel and the engagement point moved up to around the middle of the travel. The only thing I can figure is it gravity bled itself from sitting all weekend.

Anyway, the pedal feels a lot better now but it chatters like a son of a bitch! When the engagement was near the bottom of the travel it didn't chatter hardly at all, now all the sudden it chatters a lot! It has ~550 miles on it now and I have been breaking it in with some spirited driving every now and then but have not gone to the strip yet.

If this chattering does not go away soon (another 500 miles or so) I'll probably end up yanking it out because it is very aggrivating to drive as it is now.

Anyone have any idea what could have 'magically' happened? I will probably pick up a mitivac this weekend and bleed it just to see if it makes any difference.

You may try moving the engagement point back towards the floor. When I was screwing around adjusting mine it seemed to chatter more when it engaged higher up. I don't know if it has to do with anything physical or if it was just how I was releasing the clutch. Mine chatters occasionally on a low speed corner and thats about it. Or try one of my friends chatter reduction methods: the 5k dump.

Well it's been another week and the engagement point has gotten even higher. It's almost at the top of the travel now. It still grabs fine buti f it keeps moving it won't be fully engaging. Why the engagement point would keep moving up the travel I don't know. The only thing I could see causing this would be the pressure plate backing off of the flywheel! Adjusting the length of the CMC rod won't really change the engagement point, just where it feels like it is.
