Are all F-body shifters offset to the passenger side? I have no clue what this shifter came out of but the body that comes up from the plate that bolts to the transmission is offset to the passenger side. Are others centered? Picture isn't the best but hopefully you can get the idea. Thanks for any input.

 

Surely someone can tell me if all f-body shifters are offset to the passenger side of not.

 

Everyone I’ve ever seen has that “offset”, but not as exaggerated as that. Basically they all try to center the shifter in the opening.

My current mgw and stock shifter before that were not angled at all from what I remember.

 

I pulled the trigger on a American Powertrain White Lightning shifter. It affords me the room I needed. Food for thought if anyone else is in the same boat.
