T56 question.
As for the reverse lockout, It's very wise to keep it. IMHO. The solenoid is small enough that it doesn't hinder anything. But the CAGS is stupid big.
it has two pins.the solenoid itself is facing the engine,so lets call it a inner pin and outter pin.which is which,does anyone know ? i need to start running my wires.

i dont have a harness wire i have to make one,out of all the solenoids on the trans the rev/block out is broken,but i have a set of speaker wire connectors that went to some tweeters that fit perfect on the pins,saving me 82 dollars without tax on this,so in the picture which one is the positive lol ?
