Question Which shifter?

So which shifter should I by for my 01 TA. I have seen alot of you talk about alot of different shifters. Which one do you think is most durable and able to handle the abuse that the factory can not? Which one gives the smoothest shifts? Also...does replacing the shifter fix a shifter fork problem? I don't know much about the inner workings of the transmission. I think that i might have a bent shifter fork, cause sometimes my 3rd gear is real hard to get into at high rpms. How much does it cost to have a shifter fork replaced, if a new shifter isn't the solution?

IMO the Hurst Billet Plus is the best. Smooth, positive shifts, plus it has external stops so you won't keep bending shift forks. A new shifter will not fix an existing shift fork problem.
