Question Clutch Chatter?

I got a Spec 1 clutch put in about 300 miles ago and I still get clutch chatter when I start out.

I had the flywheel resurfaced and all new hydralica (sp) put in.

Is this normal ,break-in period?

Best way to break it in?

Thanks in advance

Bruce

Wow, you really shouldn't be getting any chatter with that setup since it is damn near just like the stock clutch. It sounds like you did everything right install-wise...hmmm.

Normal break in period: ~500 miles.

Best way: in town driving where you are shifting a lot. It helps everything get worn properly.

You may have gotten a bad one...if it doesn't go away, I'd call Spec and get another one. I'd expect a stage III to do it, but not that one.
