Default Can anybody help?

Well, Im going to give it one more try, Ive posted this before and really havnt found a strait answer. I have a 98 T/A m6. The car is pretty much stock. I bought it like it sits. The clutch is really hard to push in. The car shifts ok under normal driving but, when I get on the gas hard it doesnt like to go into 2nd and really dont like 3rd. The clutch grabs fine, dont have any issues with it slipping just that it will not shift. Oh, the hotter the clutch/tranny gets the worse it gets. And the peddle has to be on the floor for it to shift. I have asked every and anybody that might know whats wrong and I cant really get any answers. Will a new clutch and slave fix this or is it a waist of money. Thanks

Ok, Ive been told to change my slave cylinder. Now, Ive called my local parts store to get a new one. Ive seen that the new GM 01-02 are ~$125. The aftermarket replacement was $70. Can I trust this. I know you get what you pay for but, Im tight on money. Should I try this? Give me what you guys think.

i was having the same problem with until recently, had a hard time getting it into 4th under hard acceleration, and 3rd seemed to follow as it got hotter. this summer i had the transmission fluid changed and replaced the clutch master cylinder, and the problem went away.

hey man, i think i might know you from Greenvillefbody.com
if you need any help let me know, i'd be willing to meet you somewhere and compare it to what my experiences are, or give you a hand turning wrenches.
