I had my local tranny guy dremal the shift gate at around 30 degrees on the end of the 3rd gear gate. Makes 2nd 3rd. shifting a breeze. I have pics if anyone can host them.

I have to tell you that this really works great. I had problems with hitting 5th when trying for 3rd. And I would also hit the end of the 1st 3rd shift gate without going into gear at all. Now all I do is just barely put a direction of force toward third and it goes as fast as 1st to 2nd. of course I need to be careful of 3rd to 4th but that is not as big a problem for me. I should have done the 4th to 5th as well. It is still a little notchy because I have 410's and need it. Please feel free to share thse pics with our friends at LS1 tech or any other site. Now if I can just get this fully upgraded tranny to not grind third in a power shift lol.
