what first?

Default swapping t56...what updates first?

I am planning on doing a ls1/t56 swap into an older triumph, the ls1 will be mildly built, mild cam, full exhaust, maybe an intake manifold of some type, the question is this, what should I do to the t56 while it's out, before installation, I'll be using aftermarket hydraulics, so that shouldn't be a prob, I know I'll need a new clutch also, any recomendations? Should I update anything internally?

it depends what you're going to do with the car. theres a guy that lives up here that is doing the same thing. i told him to get the heat treated input shaft and do all the ugraded synchros and blockerrings as well as the steel shift fork. you might as well do it all or you'll end up with a half functioning 3rd gear like me. i use a spec stg 3I from Speed Inc. they'll treat you the best and that clutch kicks ***.

sounds good, I don't know how far I want to tear the thing down, to do sychros and stuff, but definetely the steel shift fork, I assume that somewhere kinda accessable? I've never rebuilt a tranny, so this is kinda new to me.
