Default tranny slipping

hi, well i got a new tranny last july (03) it has been fine but now when you are in like 6th gear and you let off the gas then when you step on the gas say around 16-18k rpm it has a little hasital before it grabs i was told it was the clutch well i'm breaking in the clutch (which is a spec 2) it is still doing it but now in 4-6 gears i also just put in a cam before the clutch which is 222,222,566,566,110 lobe if anyone here has had this happen to them please let me know.............thanks for your time.mike or if you know why its doing it please leave a post thanks mike

It hesitates when hitting the gas on a roll then.

Well cant say that's a clutch problem then, maybe a running issue?
No tune with that cam? SES light? Is everything normal, MAF, fuel pressure O2's etc?

Sounds like problems due to the aggressive 110 lsa cam. The lower the angle, the more the lobes will overlap, and that means more lope, gas smell, and drivability issues..

thanks to everyone that posted but sorry it was doing it before the cam but its doing it more after the cam install but my car does need to be tuned and yes i have had the ses light thing for a long time when i put in the headers but thats cool now that release alot of pain thanks so much for your time.later mike

Time to get someone to read the codes from the SES light. That might point to the problem
