funny smell

Sometimes I get this smell inside my car that at first I thought was coolant. Well now I am convinced that it is either tranny fluid or brake fluid from the clutch. It only does it every now and then and usually in stop and go traffic when Im riding the clutch alot.

Now my car has never left a spot of fluid under it from leaking but I still get this smell.

Any ideas?

Could be the clutch that smells. Or it could be exhaust.

no, this is a hot fluid
it almost smells like hot tranny fluid, but i dont see any leaks

every now and then you get a wiff of it

mine does it sometimes in traffic like you said...when i let it idle it doesnt do it.
