Default T56 Woes

My t56 is taking a dump. 3rd gear grinds going in and once into 4 and downshifting back to 4rd its either hard to move or noisy. I only make about 360RWHP so i'm not in need of anything super beefy. I'm just trying to find the best place to get a replacement or a rebuild that won't put me in the poor house. Any suggestions?? I live in GA.

THanks
Dave

Thought about getting parts yourself from www.ddperformance.com & having a local place rebuild it?

u may as well figure close to 1000 bucks if you let a shop do it

u probably need the same thing i just had done to mine which is a new 3-4 syncro assembly ... i paid 107.95 for it and also you will need a rebuild kit consisting of new blocker rings and it can be had for around 150 bucks .. might as well upgrade to steel shift fork for 3-4 while its apart and thats another 50 bucks

these prices are what i paid from the gear box
