Problem with M6, 1994 Trans Am. Was coming home from the drag races today, and on the way home noticed a couple odd tranny noises.
If I was going 30 mph, and I engaged clutch fully, and put it in any gear lower then the current gear (usually 4th, so 3rd 2nd or 1st) the tranny would make a weird rough whine. The clutch was fully engaged, and I was just coasting with foot off the throttle. Otherwise shifting was working as normal.
Could it be possible I've never noticed before? Is it mabye just the syncro mesh doing what it's supposed to be doing?
