Default ? about my m6

ok i have ls6 clutch on my 99 trans am installed like in june and it sat until sept. somtimes when i am shifting slowly into third it will grind. now it has started to not start somtimes with the clutch to the floor. what could it be.

Try bleeding the system. It seems as though the slave isn't working properly. When you installed the clutch kit, did you upgrade the slave?

no the slave has never been replaced, there is only like 40,000 miles on it.

probably 3-4 syncro's

expensive fix unless you do it yourself ... if you do it yourself its a very involved job

if you end up going in the tranny then upgrade to carbon fiber blocker rings and put a steel 3-4 shift fork in it

Even if it's not the slave, the pre-01 slaves are junk. I upgraded at 18K miles when I replaced my clutch.
