Default poor shift

I have a 2000 WS-6. I,m not a rough shifter but of late if I wind up on the
tach 4000 PLUS rpm and try to throw a quick shift into 2nd I get a grinding
spinning type of noise. It is not in every gear. Could the slave and masters slow shifting have caused this? Could a slider or synchro be bad? Also are the
synchro in a firebird and a vette the same?

Thanks

You must do the drill mod (do a search for drill mod for your clutch to operate properly. Period.

After performing the drill mod, I use the jmd method (search for jmd method) to get rid of all air in the hydraulics.

Until it is drilled and bled, nothing matters in the diagnosis.
