Any ideas on what to expect? All, I'm doing a A4-M6 swap in my Z28 and have a transmission en route. Apparently the transmission is wonderful from 1-4 gear (no odd noises/grinding/whining); but in 5th the shifter "moves around", and it can't be put into 6th at all.
The problems started after the trans was accidentally shifted from 2-5 or 3-6 (not 100% sure which)
Unfortunately I've only rebuilt T-10s and M22s before...
It should be here in 2 weeks and I'll be opening it up to do a rebuild; but any idea what I should be expecting?
