Updated Slave??

I pulled out my tranny for a rebuild. I did not find much wrong luckily. My problem was grinding into third occasionally.

I am going to do the drill mod. Do I need the updated slave? I don't know what the problems were with the older units like mine. As long as I am in here I may as well but I need a decent reason.
