T-56 conversion???
My MGB is a Rover V8 conversion with a Rover 5 speed (the trans sucks).
This is a shot in the dark but would anyone by chance know if the Rover clutch would match the input shaft on the T 56? The rover V8 is the same as a Buick 215 I’m hoping the GM based of the rover with help the mating of the T 56 to the Rover. So if not witch way would be the best to fix this, just find a clutch disk that fits the pressure plate and match the input shaft? Or use a T56 clutch and pressure plate and adapt it to the Rover flywheel.
I think I can handle the Shifter location. But can anyone give me the dimensions of the T 56 and possible the shifter location distance from the bell housing to the shifter
Does anyone know if there is a cable speedo hookup conversion for the LS1 T56? So I cold get it to work with the MGB speedo. Also what would have to be done with the skip shift being that it will not have the ECM anymore? I’m sure I will think of something else to ask!!!
