requesting comments on shifters

Just purchased a 99 C5, and have to wait till I sell my 92 before I start any serious mods. In the interm, I would like to start some small projects. I want add an aftermarket shifter first. Do any of you more season C5 guys have an opinion on the quality of Hurst, B&M, or Kirban shifters ? Prices seem to range from 175 to 230. I would welcome any comments -- thanks

Well I can't coment on what they are like in a vette as I am not lucky enough to own one but for the F-bodies the Ripper is the best overall shifter. Take that for what it is worth. Ive seen the Kirban and the Ripper in a vette and they both lok like quality pieces.

IMO the Pro5.0 is the best F-body shifter..

My buddy has a ripper in his ZO6 and its a REALLY nice shifter... I have nothing to really compare it to but it felt really good.
