4l60E to 6 SPEED
4l60E to 6 SPEED I have searched this AWESOME forum and found lots of info on the swap. However i am a little confused on the clutch/slave cylinder. Everyone says go with the 2001 and up set up..and do a "drilling mod" to this part. What is there to do? To witch part? I have a 1978 malibu with a lt1 but now this car will have a 6 speed in it. I bought a tranny,bell,flywheel,and clutch set up for 800. It is a spec 3 clutch (we will see how that works) . All i need now is the shifter,clutch/slave cylinder. Who is the cheapest on those parts? Thanks Jason (newbie)

well its a spec 3 ..thats just what came with it...i dunno i want to do it right the first time. The car sees about 2500 miles a year tops so if its not all out race ready thats cool just want it to be the most bang for the buck. thanks for replying.
