I have the stock Hurst shifter and I actually like but I wish it was about an inch to an inch and a half shorter. Should I just chop the it down alittle. If so any advice is welcome. Or is there another shifter just a little shorter?

your could do it yourself, but you would have to rethread it

how much shorter are those compared to the hurst?

This is the UMI stick. If it's not short enough you can cut some off. I didn't cut mine.

The last pic shows the rubber isolator found in the stock stick. This is the big reason why the factory Hurst feels so loose.

JSS is 1/2" longer than LSS. This can be easily shortened with a grinder and made to the same length as the LSS.

Both short sticks come with same size of bolts.

JSS has locking nuts and washers.

LSS is a little thicker and has a slight bend to it. This angle is not nessassary but it does seam to make the stick more verticle. Shifting is not comprimised with or without the angle.
