buddys 6 speed .. The other day I dove my buddys car.. 6 speed. It has around 380 rwhp.. but man it feels like its faster that my car even on the bottle... Do the 6 speeds always feel like that.?

For a given amount of mods, M6's are faster. They will trap a couple mph higher than the A4. The extra gear and more efficent tranny put more power to the ground. A4's are generally quicker because an A4 with a stall is pretty easy to launch and they get a good jump on all but the best M6 drivers.
The M6 ride does feel faster because the shifts tend to be more violent in an M6. Even with a shift kit, the A4 shifts more smoothly and the torque converter filters out some impact of the gear shift.

I know exactly what your talking about. A manual always feels faster to me than an auto. A buddy of mine had a mid 11's SS with 3.73s and 4400 stall and a 13.40s Z28 m6 with 3.73s. I rode in both and to me the m6 felt faster even though it was considerably slower at the track. He actually scared the **** out of me, powershifting through 4 gears. The dude can DRIVE, actually I think he's a little on the edge of nuts. That's why I want to get a M6 myself, whether it be trading her off or swapping in aT-56. The fun factor is unmatched IMHO.
