Unhappy OK< HERES THE "CLUTCH" PROBLEM

Ive noticed here in the last couple of months that my clutch pedal goes not quite halfway down before I get any resistence. Here lately Ive been having to pump the clutch from fully depressed to the point of resistance before it will get tight again. Then I am able to change gears normally, but when I come to a stop I have to do it all over again. What is causing this problem?

clutch could be going or need to bleed the air out of the system. thats my guess.

Mine was doing the same thing. I put an `02 slave in and the problem was solved.

i had a similar problem, mine would lose resistance the longer i held the pedal down (for example, if i was at a stoplight and left it in gear and just held the clutch pedal down). the culprit ended up being my master cylinder.

I agree with Turo...mine was acting very similar to what yours is doing and I replaced the Master Cyl. and it works fine now.
