Default LUK Progold ?

I leaning to replacing my stock clutch with the LUK Progold and Aluminum
Flywheel.

Anyone have this setup or know someone who does? Any feedback?

Was also looking at the Centerforce Dual Friction but leaning towards
the LUK.

Thanks for any input.

i actually just put mine in. Only about 600mi on so far. with simple break in (slip a little and then let cool.) i started into it a little hard about 250mi. No complaints or slips so far. the fidanza flywheel feels a difference. the pull seems to start about 3000 rather than 4000. there is a trick to the pressure plate.. there is a lock ring somewhere in direct relation with the fingers, with the adjustment all way back to the cover, you can get 25% more clamp. putting you at supposedly 65% better than stock. i was told this only after i had put it in. hope to save sombody the trouble.
I bought from Carolina Clutch / Tom

Thanks for the tip. I understand they are just getting into the
auto aftermarket but have been doing OEM clutches for a long.

I've heard expensive but high quality = you get what you pay for!

I can't see paying twice as much for the Pro Gold. It only holds 15% more than the Z06. I'd install the Z06 and do the pressure plate adjustment that DZYNE mentioned. Tom @ Carolina Clutch can hook you up with the parts and the adjustment procedure. It can be done in car or Tom can do it prior to shipping I believe.

The next step in my mind would be the Aussie clutch which seems to have similar characteristics of the LUK clutches but more holding capacity.

Pro Gold is in and works like a dream. No launches so far, but the
pedal is as light if not lighter than stock. It grabs! Smooth release
with no jerking. I'll see how it is at the track next month and report
back. BTW left the stock hydraulics.

Thanks for the tip on Carolina Clutches. I ordered it from them
and it was delivered on time as promised. Good price as well!
