Pro 5.0 Shifter Install Question I just received my Pro 5.0 and have 1 question regarding the installation. On install university it says to put some RTV gasket maker on the bottom of the plate. The shifter didn't come with any and I don't mind buying some if I need to, but I was wondering what is the purpose for it? The only thing I can think of is that it might help with noise from metal sitting on metal.
