Spec clutch lightweight option?
Spec clutch lightweight option? I'm getting a spec stage 3 w/ billet steel flywheel installed soon. I just wanted to know what is the lightweight option and is it worth it? Spec advertisement says 8rwhp?

The lightweight option is, they take and drill holes in the pressure plate friction surface, reducing weight of the pressure plate assembly.
The also have a lightweight "aluminum" pressure plate option, which has steel friction surface on top of about 1/2" thick of aluminum to reduce the weight.
Both will reduce rotating inertia to you motor, freeing up some lost HP (just a little). Supposed to be better for auto-x and street use (engine revs faster) but bad for hard launching such as drag racing .
