Default how much is too much?

I am wondering if anyone in here can give me an approximate horsepower/torque handling capacity for a stock 6 speed tranny out of a '99 WS6.

I'd say around 600 RwHp is a safe number although I have customers with more than that . It really depends on the weight of the car , type of tire and type of clutch you are using .

I know that the t-56's in f-bodys are rated at 475 ft/lb's and viper t-56's are like 6 or 700 ft/lb's or somthing like that, somwhere up higher than the f-bodys, but the t-56 can go through some abuse, you can put well over 475 hp or ft/lbs through a t-56, the catch is tracktion, you wont break anything unless you have the tracktion to.
