Dropping a T56 in an Auto Hey. I recently obtained a 1997 Z28 LT1 automatic with 9,000 miles on it. I'm planning on dropping in a T56 6speed. I have searched eBay and other sites and have found T56's for around $1300-$1500. I've found performance clutches for $300, and I'm not sure about the price of the slave cylinder and clutch pedal assembly and anything else I may need. How much would you guys estimate the whole job is gonna cost?
I know it's been done before, and are there any potential problems I should know about beforehand?
