Spec 3F Installed Today
After my first test drive, I'm very pleased. The 3F is supposed to hold more torque and be smoother than the standard Spec 3. After driving about 4 miles, there is barely any chatter at all and the clutch is already pretty smooth--as good (if you could say that) as the Spec 3 it replaced after 15K miles. So far it doesn't make that annoying squeal in first gear upon engagement like the 3 did, either. Clutch pedal feels stock. Overall, a great improvement over the Spec 3 I had.
The Spec 3 I pulled out isn't worn all that much. The flywheel and pressure plate each had about 0.006 to 0.010 inch of wear. I'd estimate the disk has less that 0.015 wear. Hmmm.
FYI - I had the older version of the Spec 3 (carbon) with six pads. The new 3F is a solid disk.
Having a Spohn torque arm sure saved lots of time--didn't have to remove any exhaust (except one bracket) nor torque arm components.
I'll report back after break-in and some N2O tests. So far, this one looks like a winner.

Hope it is a winner, cause i'm bout to get one. I have the III in now and it won't hold 553/614. It's supposed to be able to though. They said the IIIf is capable of holding 800tq. Good luck.
