LT1 T56 prob hey guys,
ill be picking up a 96 z28 tomrrow and the syncros for 3rd and 4th are shot. all the rest of the gears are smooth as silk. reverse does pop out so i think that the fork is bent. does anyone know a quality shop in the st joseph/kansas city area?
does it need a full rebuild? because all the locals shops i called quoted 1200 to 1800 for a full rebuild. they said that they wont just replace what i want. i was thinking that it would only cost about 500 bucks. how much am i looking at?
if anyone here does tranny work i would be willing to help and pay.
