spec 3 chattering.......again?

Default spec 3 chattering.......again?

ok, i had the spec 3 and billet flywheel installed a couple thousand miles ago. the chatter was there for the first 500 or so then it stopped. it has started to come back again though. any idea why this is happening?

has it progressively gotten worse? if so, then it sounds like a PP bolt backing out, or a slave bolt.

i've heard many of stories about the PP bolts backing out. what were they torqued to? did you use locktite? i don't know why it happens, but i'm sure it's a combination of no locktite, wrong torque specs, or reusing worn-down stock PP bolts. the slave cylinder bolts have been known to back out from time to time also. if you think about the situation, i can't think of many other possibilities out there.

a lot of people go with the upgraded PP bolts from the start. i didn't, but i don't race my car either, so i don't think it was necessary for my application.
